Dr. Abdel-Khalik talks about a novel data masking paradigm to prevent AI from being too inquisitive when dealing with sensitive data

The DIOD paradigm, developed by the CYNICS team in collaboration with Idaho National Lab, has been featured as a blog article on Medium via the the Purdue College of Engineering. DIOD has significant industrial and military applications in preventing reverse-engineering and protecting sensitive data. It uses shape-shifting techniques to morph sensitive data into benign data such as images, audio, and generic equipment while preserving the necessary AI-based functionalities.
