Ions/Surface Interactions in Dynamics (ITMC-DYN)

The area of studying ion beams interaction with various targets and mixing has many interests and applications such as material surface modification, nanolayers and nanoclusters formation, material erosion lifetime, and plasma contamination in magnetic, inertial fusion, and extreme ultraviolet lithography devices. Computer modeling of integrated processes in such systems allows better understanding of the interplay phenomena of ions deposition, target atoms mixing and diffusion, surface segregation, chemical reactions, target surface erosion, and possible compounds formation.

Our ITMC-DYN Integrated Computer Simulation Package and Modeling combines collision-induced reactions and diffusion, segregation, parametric chemical erosion, hydrogen recombination and desorption.
