Your Voice Matters: Help Us Improve Engineering Resources at Purdue!

The Purdue Engineering Up-Skill Platform Project is a new student-run initiative dedicated to connecting both incoming and current Purdue Engineering students to useful resources.

We understand that students arrive with varying levels of exposure to coding, CAD, advanced math, and other technical skills, which can leave many feeling left behind.  Additionally, differences in access to informal networks and external resources around Purdue can mean that some students miss out on useful tools and opportunities.

While Purdue offers many excellent resources, they are often scattered or under-marketed, limiting their impact. Our goal is to connect students to these existing tools, learning materials, and services while identifying any gaps where additional material may be needed to better Up-Skill students. This platform will ensure equal access to vital resources for all Purdue Engineering students, fostering a more supportive and inclusive environment for all.

To help guide this effort, we’ve created a short survey to understand the needs and experiences of current Purdue Engineering students. Your responses will help us identify existing resources and gaps in support available at Purdue. All responses will remain anonymous. This survey is a collaboration between the Dean's Leadership Scholars  and the College of Engineering - if you have any questions or concerns about the survey please reach out to AAE senior and Dean's Leadership Scholar, Robert Dalton (dalton31@purdue.edu).
