The Pathways vacanices for NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center will be open for applications September 11 - 15, 2023!

The Pathways Internship Employment Program is a cooperative (co-op) education experience for U.S. Citizens  to work as federal employees (civil servants) while attending school. There is a possibility to do full or part-time work schedules, depending on the position and the schools part-time work requirements. NASA accepts applications via USAJobs. This is the only way to apply for the pathways program.

It is recommend to create a profile and resume in the system before the vacancies are posted to be prepared to fill out your application. And apply early as some USAJobs vacancies have application quotas and may close earlier than listed if they reach those quotas.

The vacancies for September 2023 for aerospace engineers are for Thermal engineering, contamination & coatings engineering (planetary Protection analyst), mechanical systems, environmental test engineering and integration, cryogenics & fluids, telecommunication networks, attitude controls systems engineering, instrument/payload systems engineering, and Navigation & mission design (the last two have opportunities on the Roman Sapce Telescope).
