Who: AAE/ME Freshmen - Juniors

What: Working with Dr. Reid Smith under Kaustubh Ray (senior undergrad AAE) and with Breana Cappuccilli, Brandon Sells, and Jake Hunter (PhD/Graduate team) on innovative aerospace engineering design methods. We are working on running experiments to better understand how ethical/moral frameworks can be better applied to human centered design thinking for complex aerospace engineering problems (specifically Urban Air Mobility). Currently, we are preparing to publish this work at AIAA’s Sci-Tech 2022, and the student would have the chance to be one of the authors for the paper. This is a great opportunity to network, research, and have your name in an AIAA publication! Our team has a background at NASA, Intel, and Boeing.

Time requirement: Around 3-6 hours per week
