Are you looking for a chance to gain experience with real-world industry issues like those you may one day face in a career? Then the Lockheed Martin Engineering Ethics Challenge may be for you! This yearly competition takes place at the Lockheed Martin Center for Leadership Excellence in Bethesda, Maryland at the end of February, and involves student teams from schools across the country competing in a case-study competition regarding ethical, business, and engineering dilemmas. Read more about the event here: https://web.cvent.com/event/e6eee515-1b19-4323-b584-bb535ba13d86/summary.

We’re looking for a team of 2 highly motivated students to represent Purdue in this year’s competition. The event is still several months away, but we’d like to start preparing this semester by holding a “mock competition” later this semester to give interested students the chance to be on the final competition team next semester. Any student currently enrolled in AAE (sophomore, junior, or senior) is eligible to participate.

If you would like to participate, please send your resume and a couple of sentences about your interest to Prof. Marais (kmarais@purdue.edu) by Monday, September 25th!
