The Fusion Studio for Entertainment and Engineering would like to share an exciting opportunity for faculty, staff, and students: we are now accepting proposals for the 2023 BGR Entertainment Challenge! 

This call for proposals offers an opportunity to foster novel pedagogy, research, and applied science at the nexus of engineering and entertainment by offering an exploratory pilot seed grant of $2,500 to a select group of accepted proposals. 

Proposals should outline the project and the potential for embedding it into the 2023 BGR event as a display/interactive site for student spectators and/or participants. Grants will be rewarded to select projects in exploratory areas of entertainment such as acoustics and sound design, themed design, community developed art, drones and autonomous vehicles, gamification, virtual reality, and more! 

To submit a proposal, please email a 500-word abstract outlining the project, budget, and involved faculty to fusion-studio@purdue.edu by Wednesday, November 30th.
