About

Abbas Semnani received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Tehran in 2000, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2002 and 2009, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He was a Visiting Scholar with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for four months in 2008. He also served as a Research and Teaching Associate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, K. N. Toosi University of Technology, from 2009 to 2012. Then, he joined Purdue University as a Postdoctoral Researcher where he is now a Research Assistant Professor. His current research interests include high-power tunable microwaves, low-temperature plasmas, RF nanotechnology, reconfigurable RF electronics, inverse scattering, antennas and computational electromagnetics.
