Undergraduate Student
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Carmen is a junior studying civil engineering at Purdue University. He has always found cities fascinating and is particularly interested in the pivotal role that transportation systems play in their functionality. More specifically, Carmen seeks to optimize the ways in which individuals navigate urban areas by developing multimodal transportation systems that are sustainable and accessible to all. Outside of civil engineering, Carmen has interests in both watching and playing sports, such as football, baseball, and basketball, running, listening to music, and building Lego (when he has the time).
