STSRG member Sarah Adsit competed on the winning team in the 2021 Great Lakes ITE Student Design Competition

As part of a broader student delegation from Purdue University, former STSRG member Sarah Adsit competed on the winning team in the 2021 Great Lakes ITE Student Design Competition, held in conjunction with the Great Lakes ITE District Meeting in Columbus, Ohio, on August 30-31, 2021.  The Design Competition challenged students to develop innovative transportation solutions to a common design problem.  This year’s competition focused on event planning for a new athletic stadium in the fictional City of St. Locationsburg.  Also competing on the team were Jairaj Desai, Meg Hunter, Justin Mahlberg, Daniel Saldivar, and Rahul Sakhare, of Dr. Darcy Bullock’s research group.
