Dr. Gkritza to head Purdue's participation in NSF-funded Engineering Research Center to advance electrified transportation

On August 4, 2020, the National Science Foundation announced the establishment of an Engineering Research Center (ERC) focused on developing new infrastructure facilitating widespread adoption of electrice vehicles.

The center is named ASPIRE - Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification.

Purdue is part of a multi-university public-private collaboration led by Utah State University (USU) in the establishment of ASPIRE.  Other strategic partners include University of Colorado Boulder, University of Texas at El Paso, and the University of Auckland (New Zealand).

STSRG faculty Dr. Nadia Gkritza will serve as Purdue campus director for ASPIRE and is excited to grow the center and advance transportation electrification research.

Congrats to Dr. Gkrtiza and the entire ASPIRE team!
