Bruno Moras and his team won the Innovation Challenge organized by ASPIRE

Bruno Cesar Krause Moras and his team (Ashutossh Gupta, Lazlo Stepback, and Zainab Imran) won the Innovation Challenge organized by ASPIRE. The competition encouraged students to prototype scalable solutions for real-world industry challenges.

Bruno's team won the three major awards of the competition:  1st Place (Industry Judges), People’s Choice Award (Audience Vote), and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) Innovation Award. The winning project consisted of the design a resilient microgrid featuring on-site solar energy generation. The full project included business case and plans for workforce development.
