Openings and Opportunities
We have openings for highly-motivated, self-driven and really hard-working researchers, including postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and undergraduate students, who enjoy both detailed hand-skill experimental work and abstract thinking, to join our research group to explore the amazing quantum world of light and matter. Interested applicants please contact Prof. Shengwang Du (dusw@purdue.edu).
- Postdoctoral Research Associate in Experimental Quantum Optics and Neutral-Atom Quantum Computing
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in experimental quantum optics, cold atoms, neutral-atom quantum computing, and quantum networking.
The successful candidate will join our team to develop a Shared Quantum Gate Processing Unit (S-QGPU), a new hardware architecture for scalable distributed quantum computing. The project focuses on developing hybrid atom-photon quantum gate modules with efficient quantum interfaces for distributed quantum computing. This research lies at the frontier of quantum computing and quantum networking.
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, and exceptionally hard-working experimental researcher with a strong background in cold-atom physics and engineering. The ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to develop new building blocks for next-generation quantum computing and networking. Experience with Rydberg atoms and neutral-atom quantum computing is highly desirable.
