Research: Technical assessment accompanied by validated inputs for modeling and analysis of enzyme and fermentation processes based on aqueous-based processing of lignocellulosic residues to low carbon footprint bioproducts at large scale. Impacts on decarbonization, supply chains, critical material security, and sustainable biomanufacturing will be addressed for bioconversion of renewable resources into bioproducts with large scale applications for building infrastructure and in sustainable aviation and liquid transportation fuels.
