Curricular Change Process
Every change/addition to an academic program requirement or course offering must originate and be approved by an academic unit or Engineering committee.
That proposed action must then be approved by the engineering faculty using a process
characterized in the following flow diagram. Faculty responsibilities
include review of Engineering Faculty Documents.
Guidelines, templates, and examples are available for reference in preparing Engineering Faculty Documents.
The faculty review "clock" is suspended for holidays and when academic year faculty are in vacation status.
The Committee on Faculty Relations does not normally meet during summer sessions.
