Engineering Curriculum Committee

This committee (ECC) is the primary academic governance committee for the College of Engineering. Its composition and responsibilities are defined by the  Bylaws of the Faculty of the College of Engineering. One of its most significant duties is the oversight of curricular change.

Engineering Faculty Documents (EFDs) are the formal process by which engineering faculty approve all academic policy and curricular changes. EFDs reviewed during the current academic year are posted in the Documents section. EFDs can be reviewed and commented on by engineering faculty during the two-week posting period after initial review by the ECC.

The committee meets weekly unless it has no pending business. The permanent hourly meeting time for the committee is Mondays at 12:30 during the fall and spring semesters. No meetings are held during the summer sessions.
