Drake Ott

Drake Ott is a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and is a master’s student from the School of Engineering. He has been a part of Purdue AI Racing since August 2024 as a perception engineer focused on LiDAR. He has experience in Robot Operating System, LiDAR hardware and software, consumer electronics design, and electromechanical systems. His research interests involve controls and control systems, human-robot interactions, autonomous vehicles, and automated solutions for defense technologies.
