Tipnis will work in the Computational Engineering Division at LLNL under Kaplan's mentorship. She will develop computational methods to compute functional connectivity matrices from large quantities of MRI data and explore methods to compare these matrices and develop metrics to evaluate similarity across individuals. Uttara's internship will last from June 17-Sept. 7.
