Tipnis to attend AFNI Bootcamp
CONNplexity Lab PhD student Uttara Tipnis will attend the Analysis of Functional Neuroimages (AFNI) Bootcamp at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD from March 25-29.
This is an intensive workshop aimed at researchers conducting functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies and will introduce the use of AFNI software for the processing of fMRI data to estimate whole-brain individual functional connectomes (FCs). This software was developed by the Scientific and Statistical Computing Core (SSCC) of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) at NIH. The workshop is being conducted by the developers of the software itself, who are top scientists in the field of neuroimaging processing. The course covers all the important aspects of fMRI data processing, including techniques and methods for alignment, registration, individual analysis, group analysis, regression, and clustering.
