CONNplexity Lab member Duy Duong-Tran will intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL).

Duong-Tran, a second-year PhD student, will work in the Computational Engineering Division at LLNL under the mentorship of Jose Cadena Pico. Some of the highlighted assignments will include the development of stochastic block models to analyze functional and structural brain connectivity. The construction of such models will allow the exploration of meaningful mesoscopic structures in both functional and structural networks. Duong-Tran's internship will last from June 17-Sept. 7.

For more than 60 years, Lawrence Livermore employees have applied science and technology to make the nation—and the world—a safer place. The numerous awards, honors, and international recognition Livermore employees receive every year are a testament to their expertise, dedication, and creativity. The skills, knowledge, and energy you bring to the Laboratory are vital to our continued success.
