The MRI lab seeks a postdoctoral researcher for an NIH-funded position studying hyaluronan science, mechanobiology, and biomechanics, with research spanning animal models, ECM biology, and AFM-based techniques. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, biology, or a related field, with expertise in one of the core disciplines and strong project management, communication, and mentorship skills. The role, renewable up to 4 years, involves manuscript preparation, conference travel, grant/fellowship applications, and collaborative work with Dr. Chan; applicants must submit a cover letter, CV, and contact information for three references, with review starting immediately and start dates preferred within 6 months.

A warm welcome to Giada Brandes to the Chan Lab! Gigi comes from a mechanical engineering undergrad at Boise State and joins us this fall as a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering!

Evan Larson officially joins the team and is starting this summer through the Graduate Bridge program. He joins us as a biochemistry major and soccer player/coach from Grinnell College. His interests are in joint injury, gut microbiome, and biomechanics.
