Hybrid system test stand with MON-3, MON-25, Hydrogen Peroxide, and gaseous oxygen for chamber pressures up to 500 psia and thrust levels up to 1000 lbf.
The high-speed video, recorded at 10,000 fps, shows the plume exhaust during a test performed with a paraffin-based fuel grain and MON-3. A gaseous oxygen lead is used as an igniter to start the motor, and is kept throughout the test. The average chamber pressure is ~175 psia, and the average thrust is ~45 lbf
