Maria Pantopoulou, AISL Ph.D. student, has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 Roy G. Post Scholarship. This recognition is awarded to an extremely accomplished, outstanding and driven group of students who excel both inside and outside of their academic roles.

As part of this honor, Maria presented a poster highlighting her research, titled "Anomaly Detection in Temperature Measurement of Liquid Sodium Heater Zones Using an LSTM Autoencoder." Her work leverages deep learning to enhance the monitoring, reliability and operational safety of advanced nuclear reactor systems.
