Xuan Wang, the first PhD student in our group, has just passed his prelim exam. Now he is a Ph.D. candidate! All committee members reach a consensus on that Xuan has done excellent research towards his thesis, as evidence by one paper published in IEEE TIE, one accepted by IEEE TAC, one accepted by NACO, and two under review in IEEE TAC.
