New Student Survey

This will help your advisor to know more about you and things you want to do during your time at Purdue. Please complete this survey by Friday, June 26^th.

Summer 2026

If you are taking summer courses outside of Purdue, please make sure that you have checked that the courses will transfer into Purdue as an actual course. You can find the Transfer Course Equivalency Guide here.  Once grades post at the university/college where you are taking the course, have your transcript sent to Purdue as quickly as possible. You can find info on submitting transcripts here.

*Reminder: we will not give overrides for fall courses if you are taking a pre-requisite course at a different institution. You will have to wait until the credit is on your Purdue transcript.

You can still register for some summer courses at Purdue. If you would like to take a summer course, please reach out to your advisor ASAP!

Fall 2026

Take a look at your Fall 2026 schedule.  If you have not already done so, please add AAE 20000 to your schedule now. You may need to submit a request for an override. That is okay. Please submit that request in the Scheduling Assistant before May 29, 2026 and we will approve it. Please note that AAE 20000 is a 1^st 8-week course.

If you are not registered for AAE 25100, then that is okay. You can take this course in the spring semester instead. That means that something you would normally take in the spring semester, you should be taking this fall in place of AAE 25100.  Please contact your advisor if you have questions about this.

If you are making any changes to your fall schedule, please talk to me first. Fall registration closes May 29^th and will reopen beginning July 28^th so we recommend making any changes prior to May 30^th, if possible.

If you have a co-op or internship offer letter for summer or fall, please complete this survey.  You will need your offer letter. Your offer letter must include name, start/end dates, number of rotations and be on company letterhead.

AAE Computer Lab

AAE students have access to a computer lab in Armstrong Hall in ARMS 2106-2. The lab is open 24 hours every day.
