PURDUE AERIAL ROBOTICS
WHO ARE WE?
Purdue Aerial Robotics (PART) is Purdue University's premier Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Team. We are composed of 30-40 undergraduate engineers in 3 sub-teams: Aeromechanical, Electrical and Software. We work together to develop an Unmanned Aerial System to participate in the AUVSI-SUAS international student competition in Patuxent River, MD.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As part of the Aeromechanical team you are tasked with conceptualizing, testing, and building the aircraft. You will be able to:
Design components in SolidWorks Fabricate parts from composite materials Build and assemble the physical UAS Participate in test flights at a local RC field
WHY PURDUE AERIAL ROBOTICS?
Purdue Aerial Robotics provides a small team environment that will allow you to work hands on from the get-go. You will quickly be assigned to a project which will help you gain valuable technical skills and project experience.
