You can make an impact while solving the most complex infrastructure challenges.
The CEM program offers more than just a well-rounded engineering degree. Because of our small class sizes, we have the unique opportunity to really get to know each student while giving them a real sense of what they will be doing once they graduate.

CEM Plans of Study
Our curriculum cuts across traditional engineering boundaries and provides students with a well-rounded, multidisciplinary education that develops versatile and diverse construction engineers.
Internships
We have amazing partners throughout the world that will help you become an extremely capable engineer from the ground up. These paid internships are some of the most rewarding times you’ll have as a CEM student.
Labs & Research
Studies show that students who engage in research are more likely to graduate, are more likely to go on to graduate school, and have more successful careers after graduation. We have a number of ways for you to get involved with research opportunities.
Scholarships
Corporate and non-profit scholarships are available to students in the Division of Construction Engineering and Management at Purdue. Students are encouraged to search for scholarships on their own, and we will pass along opportunities that we receive.
