Jessie is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a senior in the department of biomedical engineering. Her research involves using rs-fMRI to study the blood flow and oxygen levels in patients with sickle cell disease. After completing her undergraduate studies, she will be participating in the combined BS-MS program. Outside of classes, she enjoys being a teaching assistant, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
