This annual event allows graduate students to share their in-progress research with an audience of interested researchers, including a panel of reviewers who provide feedback on the research. This Gala asked PhD Candidates to submit a proposal describing their dissertation research. Only 9 were asked to present posters and the top 3 were chosen to return next year as a part of the “Exemplary Work from Promising Researchers” session. She was name one of the Top 3 graduate student presenters for the event and will return next year to share her continuing work.
