Agudemu is from Inner Mongolia, China. He came to US for his Master's study in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. After graduation in 2016, he joined the Cochlear cooperation as an engineering intern. He worked on the simulations of various new stimulation strategies to study the cochlear implant (CI) system's behavior. In 2017 spring, he joined Purdue as a graduate research assistant at the Biomedical Engineering department. His research interests include the tough hearing problems in complicated multisource listening environments for the hearing impaired, especially the CI recipients. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing.
