Bennett O'Brien

Bennett O'Brien is an undergraduate student at Purdue University studying Neurobiology and Physiology. He graduated from Boston University Academy in 2017. During his junior and senior years at BUA, he worked with Scott Bressler in Boston University's Auditory Neuroscience Laboratory (directed by Dr. Barbara Shinn-Cunningham) on selective auditory attention. He worked with Scott to assess various auditory stimuli that were being used to evaluate selective auditory attention networks of returning war veterans. Bennett plans to pursue an MD after graduating from Purdue. When not busy with class, Bennett is involved with the Purdue American Medical Student Association (AMSA), the Purdue Student Academy of Audiology (SAA), the Purdue National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the Purdue Stadium Rescue Squad, and the Purdue Cycling Club.
