McClain Goggin was selected to receive the Charles C. Chappelle Fellowship.
Space Flight Projects Laboratory undergraduate student McClain Goggin has been selected as a recipient of a Charles C. Chappelle Fellowship for the 2017-18 academic year. The Chappelle Fellowship is a highly competitive and prestigious award which encourages Purdue alumni to pursue graduate research at Purdue.
Mac has accepted the Fellowship, and will continue to pursue his M.S. degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue within SFPL. Mac is currently conducting undergraduate research on automated proximity operations for Mars Sample Return under a contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
