"People's Choice Award" for Poster Presentation in Sixth Annual ABE-GSA Graduate Industrial Research Symposium on March 25, 2019

The team won the "People's Choice Award" for the poster presentation in the 6th Edition of the Annual ABE-GSA Graduate Industrial Research Symposium held at Purdue University.

The Office of Campus Master Planning and Sustainability, The Agricultural and Biological Engineering Graduate Student Association (ABE-GSA), and Ecological Sciences and Engineering Interdisciplinary Graduate Program hosted an Industrial Research Symposium incorporating the 150th theme; Sustainable Economy & Planet on March 25, 2019. Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral Researchers got involved and presented their research in this 6th Edition of the Annual ABE-GSA Graduate Industrial Research Symposium where our team participated in the Oral and Poster Presentation Session. There were four awards in the symposium with cash prize being awarded to the first, second and third place winners for the best poster presentation along with a "People's Choice Award" to the competitor receiving the most votes cast by attendees. Our team won the  "People's Choice Award" with a cash prize of $75 for the poster presentation on the poster titled "Development of a Pilot Smart Water Irrigation System for Peruvian Highland".
