Prerequisites: CHE 320, CHE 378, COM 114; ENGL 106 or ENGL 108

 

Quantitative experimental study of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat and mass transfer; operation and evaluation of equipment; application of methods of data analysis in practice; use of computers in controlling and simulating experiments; strong emphasis on report writing and oral communication

Rationale:  Given that students must complete Either ENGL 106 or ENGL 108 as a requirement for the First Year Engineering program, it is not necessary that it be listed as a pre-requisite for CHE 434.
