This action is now submitted to the Engineering Faculty with a recommendation for approval. To: Weekly small group seminars led by upper-class engineering students supplementing First-Year Engineering Lectures (ENGR 100), enabling a broader understanding of engineering disciplines at Purdue and providing skills for transition to the professional schools and academic success. ENGR 105H Prerequisite ENGR 116 ENGR 117 ENGR 117R ENGR 195 ENGR 195H Reason: Since the Division of Interdisciplinary Engineering Studies and the Department of Freshman Engineering merged to form the Department of Engineering Education, the program formerly known as the Freshman Engineering Program is now known as the First-Year Engineering Program. Course titles, prerequisites, and descriptions are herein modified to reflect this change. As the courses in this program provide the initial view of Purdue's engineering course material for all of our undergraduate students, this change is important in projecting a gender-neutral image for all of our programs.
