Subject:  New Undergraduate Level Course

The Faculty of the School of Biomedical Engineering has approved the following new course and submits it for your approval.

BME 396  Biomedical Engineering Projects. Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Cr. 1-4.  Admission by consent of instructor.  (May be repeated for credit.)      Individual research projects to be approved by the supervising faculty member before registering for the course.  An approved written report is required.

Reason:  The School of Biomedical Engineering (BME) was recently formed to coordinate the training of B.S. level students in this field.  This addition is made to allow for projects to be undertaken by Junior level students interested in the Biomedical Engineering field.
