To: Faculty of the Schools of Engineering From: Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering Subject: New Undergraduate Level Course The Faculty of the School of Biomedical Engineering has approved the following new course and submits it for your approval. BME 296 Biomedical Engineering Projects. Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Cr. 1-4.
Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
(May be repeated for credit.) Student is to be assigned to a research or
design project by the supervising faculty member before registering for the
course. An approved written report is
required.
Reason: The School of Biomedical Engineering (BME) was recently formed to coordinate the training of B.S. level students in this field. This course addition is made to allow for projects to be undertaken by students at all levels who are interested in learning about Biomedical Engineering._________________________________ G. R.
