Reason: Since the Division of Interdisciplinary
Engineering Studies and the Department of Freshman Engineering merged to form
the Department of Engineering Education (ENE), the faculty of ENE is developing
a vigorous research program in engineering education. This course gives engineering students (with
approval of their academic advisors) the opportunity to engage in engineering
education research. In many of the research
