Election Procedures
As specified by the
Constitution of the Engineering Faculty,
each school and department, at the direction of its current CFR
member, elects a new representative to the committee upon expiration of
that member's three-year term.
Voting faculty of all ranks are eligible for election;
heads of engineering schools, departments, and divisions may not be elected.
A current member
may be re-elected, but consecutive service may not exceed six years.
In the event an elected representative is unable to complete his/her
term, that academic unit elects a representative to finish the unexpired
term or to serve in a temporary capacity during a member's extended absence.
