The faculty of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering has approved the following course changes. This action is now submitted to the Engineering Faculty with a recommendation for approval.

ECE 396 Industrial Practice Seminar I

Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Class 1, cr. 1. For cooperative program students only.

Prerequisite: ECE 393

 

Solution of electrical engineering problems, with special emphasis on current industrial experience obtained through the cooperative education program.

 

To:

 

ECE 396 Industrial Practice Seminar

Sem. 1 and 2. Class 1, cr. 1. (May be repeated once for credit.)

Prerequisite: Junior or Senior standing and one of ECE 393, ECE394, ECE 395 or ECE 496I.

 

A special seminar for cooperative education and curricular practical training students.

 

Reason: The Industrial Practice Seminars give our students an opportunity to earn an

academic credit for industrial work experience. This course will incorporate ECE 397, Industrial Seminar II, and ECE 398, Industrial Seminar III, which are identical with ECE 396.
