RE: Deletion of ECE 397 and 398

The faculty of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering has approved the deletion of the following courses. This action is now submitted to the Engineering Faculty with a recommendation for approval.

ECE 397 Industrial Practice Seminar II

Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Class 1, cr. 1. For cooperative program students only.

Prerequisite: ECE 394.

A continuation of ECE 396.

ECE 398 Industrial Practice Seminar III

Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Class 1, cr. 1. For cooperative program students only.

Prerequisite: ECE 395.

A continuation of ECE 397.

Reason: ECE 397 and 398 are taken by our cooperative education (those who have taken

ECE 394 or 395, the co-op work session courses) and internship students (those who have taken ECE 496I, the internship course). These courses will be incorporated into ECE 396, Industrial Practice Seminar I, which will be renamed Industrial Practice Seminar and will then be repeatable for credit (EFD 53-02 is being processed for these changes in ECE 396).
