The Faculty of the School of Mechanical Engineering has approved the following changes in prerequisites. This action is now submitted to the Engineering Faculty with a recommendation for approval.

ME 352 Machine Design I Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Class 3, lab. 3, cr. 4. Prerequisite: ME 263, 274, 323; corequisite: MSE 230

ME 452 Machine Design II Sem. 1 and 2. Class 3, cr. 4. Prerequisite: ME 352

ME 463 Engineering Design Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Class 3, cr. 3. Prerequisite: ME 315, 352, and 375.

TO:

ME 352 Machine Design I Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Class 3, lab. 3, cr. 4. Prerequisite: ME 263, 274, 323

ME 452 Machine Design II Sem. 1 and 2. Class 3, cr. 4. Prerequisite: ME 352 and MSE 230

ME 463 Engineering Design Sem. 1 and 2. SS. Class 3, cr. 3. Prerequisite: ME 315, 352, and 375, and MSE 230.

REASON: The Design Faculty have determined that MSE 230 is not needed as a corequisite for ME 352 but is still needed as a prerequisite for ME 452 and ME 463.
