Minor in Intellectual Property Law for Engineers

The first intellectual property claim writing course was started in Mechanical Engineering in the early 90's. And more recently resulted in development of a minor in the intellectual property area within mechanical engineering. It is good to cross list this class in Mechanical Engineering, and ME class in ECE. Hardware and software as well as physical and digital mix together these days and intellectual property exposure is needed in all of college of engineering. I would suggest the founder of the class consult with those who have started ME554 and also the current instructors to have greater impact and cross list them.
