Jupyoung finished his Ph.D. studies in Spring 2019. Jupyoung's interests were turbulent premixed flames, especially the turbulence effects on premixed flames. Also, his research included laser diagnostics and fire safety/propagation. He completed his Master's degree at Purdue University and Bachelor's degree at Korea University. Jupyoung left Purdue University to work at Hanwha Aerospace.
