Yerbatyr measured the flame spread rates and the different flame spreading regimes for flames of conventional fuel Jet-A and three other alternative aviation fuels, Fischer-Tropsch-S8 (FT-S8), synthetic iso-paraffin (SIP) and hydro-processed esters and fatty acids (HEFA). His work was fundamental in the assessment of potential risks associated with the use of alternative aviation fuels. We congratulate Yerbatyr and wish him the best in his future endeavors!
