Dr. Han studied the effects of carbon dioxide in the turbulent premixed combustion of methane. For his work, Dr. Han used the Piloted Axisymmetric Reactor Assisted Turbulent (PARAT) burner. His studies are of relevance for the design of gas turbine combustors using Recirculation of Exhaust Gases. After graduation, Dr. Han joined FM Global as Senior Research Scientist.
