Report On Giving

Author: written by Amy Noah
The College of Engineering’s success is due, in large part, to the generous financial support you have provided. This past year, alumni, friends, parents, corporations and foundations generously contributed almost $70 million to the College of Engineering. I would like to express my most profound thanks to you in appreciation of the support you have given to Purdue’s College of Engineering.

So many of you have taken time and resources out of your own lives to enrich the lives of the Purdue community and we value your commitment. Without these generous gifts of time, knowledge and funds, the College of Engineering would not be able to continue the wide array of services and programs that are vital to our community.

Gifts to the College of Engineering help sustain excellence in countless ways, especially as we continue to broaden the enrichment opportunities for our students. Your contributions support every facet of the Purdue Engineering experience — classroom projects, laboratory equipment, scholarship and fellowship support. Know that your investment in our students make you an integral part of their success.

Financial support has also allowed the college to establish endowed professorships, create innovative teaching awards and build world-class facilities. These initiatives help attract, retain and reward the very best faculty and students and better enable us to extend the impact of learning, discovery and engagement to a global community.

Your continued commitment signifies your belief in the values of the Purdue Engineering educational experience. Your generosity also underscores a commitment to nurturing talent and grooming future leaders by enabling our students, faculty and staff to seize opportunities to discover their strengths, pursue their passions and realize their potential.

Thank You!
