A select group of Purdue University engineering and pharmacy graduate students are advancing Indiana’s biopharmaceutical workforce training opportunities through the BioTrain Fellows program.

The Arthur Kelly Lectures were established by a grant
from alumnus Arthur Kelly (BSChE 1924).

Zoltan K. Nagy, the Arvind Varma Professor in the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award to conduct research in Italy during the Fall 2025 semester. He also was recently elected as an External Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), one of the highest scholarly honors bestowed by Hungary’s premier scientific institution.

The Purdue University Teaching Academy has announced 14 inductees for 2025 in recognition of their outstanding and scholarly teaching in graduate, undergraduate or engagement programs. Candidates were identified by their individual department or college/school based upon evidence of excellence in teaching, innovation in teaching methodology, teaching-related service, and scholarship in teaching and learning.

The International Zeolite Association (IZA) has named Dr. Rajamani Gounder, the R. Norris and Eleanor Shreve Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University and CISTAR Thrust 2 Lead, as the recipient of the 2025 IZA Young Researcher Award.
