Meet the Presenter:

Matt Pearson, Fertilizer Administrator, Office of the Indiana State Chemist

Matt assumed the role of fertilizer administrator February 1, 2012.  Pearson had been the Engineering Specialist for the Office of Indiana State Chemist since 1996. His responsibilities include oversight of the fertilizer program at OISC.  Product registration, anhydrous ammonia and fertilizer storage and handling as well as certification for distributors and users of fertilizer material are just a few of the areas OISC regulates. He has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Purdue University.
