Challenges and Successes Associated with a Giant Amphibian in the Blue River Watershed
Aired: November 12, 2014 from noon to 1pm Eastern Dr. Rod Williams will discuss the basic biology of the hellbender: habitat needs, diet, reproduction, and movement. He will also discuss current research projects and new partnerships to expand hellbender conservation in Indiana and beyond.

Meet the Presenter: Rod Williams, Assistant Professor, Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, Purdue University Dr. Rod Williams is broadly interested in the ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles. He uses a combination of field and laboratory methods to examine the factors involved with population declines in rare and endangered species.
